January [ARC]Open 2v2 Tournament

Members of [ARC] also other Clans and the General Public are welcome to signup for the event. This is for fun and everyone is encouraged to participate regardless of skill level. This is a FREE event.

If you cannot stand to lose it, or you cannot be a good sport, win or lose, then this is not the event for you.

UT99 and UT2004 will be played on different days, so feel free to participate in both Tournaments. This is on our ZARK DM servers.

Date and Time:
January 27 beginning at 9:00pm est. for UT99 ZARK
January 28 beginning at 8:00pm est. for UT2004 ZARK


RULES:

* Team registration DEADLINE is January 25. We will be limiting the tournament to 16 teams for each (UT99 and UT2k4), so don't hesitate.
* Each team will be assigned a number and on the morning of the applicable tournament a Random Number Generator will be used to match teams.
* The tournament will be best of three 3-minute matches (no score limit), double elimination, so if you lose your first bracket match your team is not out, you'll have a second shot at the title. Bracket Maker will be used to track the tournament results.
* The Tournament will be played on the UT99 Main ZARK (205.234.210.85) and UT2k4 Main ZARK (205.234.210.70) servers.
* Five maps will be placed in the cycle and the teams will play which ever random three maps come up.
* Game spectators are ok, but no personal team spectators allowed.
* All participants and spectators must be on ARC's TeamSpeak. Team members can move to a private channel if they want, but they must be in that channel alone.
* The first place teams from UT99 and UT2004 wins bragging rights . So fight hard! Second place is the first loser!
